Our mission is to give the people, from our youth to our senior citizens, a rare opportunity to step back in time to the late 1800's and see how they lived their lives - and tour some of the buildings of that area. Buildings include a church, school, log cabin, pole barn, and a home all built in the 1880's.

The Museum presents the history of Polk County and Central Florida through exhibits on pioneers, military, industry, community and the environment as well as a general store, changing exhibit gallery and children’s room. Two restored courtrooms are available for rental.
